Installation at the Galerie Sans Nom - GSN. The device carefully and softly captures the ‘Softness’ of people through five ‘Y’ movement sequences. Sensor speeds are then calculated and adjusted to interact again with the participant but this time to ‘receive’ the softness of others. The objective is to get the audience to experience a different method of communication. Technical help: William Boyer and Mathieu LeBlanc, both students at NBCC helped with the programming.

The installation consists of thirty six custom made sensors (sliding potentiometers) winched down on the Z axis, five Arduino Megas, and a total of thirty nine stepper motors mounted on a mechanical CNC base (X, Y).
